A Printpack Associate Spotlight Series
Meet Matthew Anderson: Pricing Analyst, Wilmington, DE
Matthew Anderson’s career at Printpack goes back a long way. In 2006, after graduating from High School and working for a large retailer, Mathew was looking for an opportunity to make a living, learn a new profession, and build a career. His cousins and uncles worked at Printpack and highly recommended the company. He started as a Material Handler, became a Press Assistant a couple of years later, and then was promoted to Press Operator.
“Printpack has done a lot for me. The company has taken good care of me and helped me take care of my family. I joined because of all the good things I’d heard about Printpack. But I stayed because of how people treat each other here,” Matt remembers.
Matthew watched the company evolve and invest in his career throughout the years.
“I was a press operator for ten years. After I got married in 2015 and had my daughter, my wife pushed me to go back to school and pursue further education. When I realized Printpack would support me, helping pay for the tuition, I went back to night school,” he explains.
Over the years, Matt embraced new opportunities at Printpack. After getting his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Wilmington University and an MBA in Accounting, he learned a new profession and expanded his professional skills. Matt worked as an Accounting Specialist, Product Cost Analyst, and Plant Controller.
Today, as a Pricing Analyst, he works remotely in Delaware, supporting the team in Atlanta.
Let’s learn more about Matt’s career journey in his own words.
